POSTS FOR BREAKFAST #15 -SOL INVICTUS COVER

Yesterday we posted a teaser of the cover for FAITH NO MORE's new album, Sol Invictus.

Today IPECAC have officially revealed the artwork. The album design is by than long time Ipecac and MIKE PATTON collaborator, Norwegian designer MARTIN KVAMME.  

We spoke to Kvamme about the overall design, "They have a couple of really cool images, that are put together quite elegantly. I think it will suit the FNM catalogue quite nicely. Nice printing with some special print effects..."

The images used on the final design are in part taken from the 2010 book HAUNTED AIR by Ossian Brown of the music groups COIL and CYCLOBE.

Haunted Air, showcases anonymous Halloween photographs taken between 1875 and 1955. It is published by Jonathan Cape, an imprint of Random House UK.

Sol Invictus is released on May 19th.
