FAITH NO MORE - SOUNDWAVE BRISBANE #2
A little more from FAITH NO MORE's final Soundwave 2015 date in Brisbane.
THE AU REVIEW - Andrew Wade
Faith No More are one of the true chameleons in modern music history. Opening with their understated new single "Motherfucker", Patton and co. proceed to provide a rundown of most FNM classics that command attention from everyone, established fan or otherwise. Both "Epic" and "Midlife Crisis" get early showings, and the contrast of finishers "Ashes to Ashes" and "Superhero" show that old or new, the band's output is still some of the absolute best around. The only complaint is that where Sydney got "We Care A Lot", Brisbane receives a Burt Bacharach cover - while it's not *really* a complaint, and with the strength of the entire set, it serves to show the unpredictability of one of the most flexible bands in recent memory.
