MIKE PATTON | El Rey Cancelled due to serious car accident

The Dead Cross show last night in El Rey was cancelled due to Mike Patton being involved in a car accident on the way to the show.

Michael Crain came onto the stage to announce, "There's been an accident". "Mike was in an accident. It's not grave, but he's unable to be here tonight. He's hurt. So I'm sorry. We apologize. We're gonna reschedule. And tickets will be refunded at points of purchase."
"On behalf of the band, we're really sorry," added Dave Lombardo. He went on to say that he, Crain and bassist Justin Pearson would be travelling to the hospital to be with Patton.
Ipecac Recordings added via their Instagram comments, "Mike is doing fine and resting. Not life threatening. We'll have further info on upcoming shows asap. Nothing is certain at this time. We'll keep everyone posted asap. We appreciate the kind words and thoughts."

We have reached out to Patton and those close to him to wish him a speedy recovery and find out more. All we have heard so far is that he is "doing ok". We will of course share any news we receive.....thoughts and prayers to Mike.

Update

Dead Cross’ publicist has issued the following statement: “Mike Patton was involved in a minor accident last night en route to the Los Angeles date of Dead Cross’ current tour. Tonight’s performance has been canceled but a decision has yet to be made about the remaining dates.”

  6. I wonder if he's playing around with those cool medical devices making an attempt at creating some new,rad as fuck, Patton style jams? This being said and we all know it's possible, especially since he's probably laid up in a bed, getting bored and fidgety with the natural itch that he always has to create something insanely cool for us followers!
