DEAD CROSS | New video for 'Seizure and Desist'
Dead Cross are pulling out all the stops to promote their upcoming self-titled album out on August 4th via Ipecac.
They have released a politically charged animated video for the song Seizure and Desist. Described as 'A powder keg of wild tempo changes, rigid, rhythmically-minded riffs and the animated and dynamic vocal efforts of Patton certainly adhere to the “Seizure” portion of the song’s title in convincing fashion.'
“The artist who created our album art, Eric Livingston, came up with this video,” bassist Justin Pearson told Loudwire. “As far as I’m concerned, it sums up the current social and political climate of today. For a lot of humanity, this world is a mean motherf–king place. The video captures the severity of the times we live in, as well as a means to communicate beyond basic language using iconic imagery, campy techniques, historical relevance, as well as a glimpse into the future.
