MIKE PATTON talks movies, soundtrack work, and Mr. Bungle with The Boo Crew Podcast

Mike Patton joins Bloody Disgusting podcast The Boo Crew on episode 82. He talks about his favourite horror films such as 1973 shocker The Exorcist, Tomas Alfredson's 2008 vampire flick Let The Right One In, recent documentary by Michael Beach Nichol Wrinkles The Clown and more.

Patton goes on to briefly discuss the reasons why Mr. Bungle wore masks on stage,  The Director's Cut by Fantômas and his soundtrack work.

He discusses the genesis of his ideas, "...they could come in my bed at like 4 in the morning. Sometimes I go in my studio and there's nothing...other times I'll be in the fucking supermarket and I'll be like shit that's a great idea. And I'll just run out and record it on my phone."

Patton mentions his love for David Lynch and then discusses Corpse Flower. Finally he talks about the Mr. Bungle 2020 reunion shows, "the music that we're gonna be playing and the style we're gonna be playing in is most likely not what [fans] wanna hear..."
