MR. BUNGLE and TOMAHAWK saluted at the 2019 Grammy Awards

In Tomahawk's 2001 song POP1 Mike Patton told us that 'this beat could win me a Grammy', however this has unfortunately not been the case....as yet.
Yet Patton's music was indeed represented at the 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony which took place on February 10th at Staples Center in Los Angeles. When High On Fire approached the stage to accept the award for Best Metal Performance, the house band / orchestra performed  God Hates A Coward by Tomahawk.

Also when Beck accepted the award for Best Alternative Music Album [watch] the accompanying music was Carousel by Mr. Bungle. Certainly a triumph for Patton and Ipecac Recordings and we applaud the house band for these inspired musical choices.

UPDATE

Cheche Alara was Musical Director/Conductor for the 2019 Grammy Premiere show. His credits also include Mondo Cane

It's worth mentioning that the award for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance went to Laurie Anderson and Kronos Quartet who Faith No More sampled on Angel Dust in the song Malpractice and who have worked with Trey Spruance on various projects, congrats!
