BILL GOULD joins MC5'S 50th Anniversary tour

It's all quiet on the Faith No More front however individual members are keeping themselves busy with some interesting projects. Bill Gould will be joining fellow amazing musicians on the Kick Out the Jams: The 50th Anniversary Tour with the legendary Michigan band MC5.

MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer will be accompanied by original drummer Dennis Thompson at selected dates. The rest of the band will be Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil, Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty, and Zen Guerrilla frontman Marcus Durant. Also for selected dates they will be joined by Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron, The Afghan Whigs’ Greg Dulli, and Was (Not Was)’s Don Was.

We spoke to Bill who is extremely excited,  "What an honor to be asked to be a part of this; I hope my contributions will do justice to the material, in music and in spirit.”

The band with be playing MC5’s 1969 album Kick Out the Jams in full, plus an encore of other material. Starcrawler, The Detroit Cobras, and  Man Or Astro-man will be the support acts.
