Watch IMPERIAL TEEN at Twist and Shout in Denver on July 16th

Imperial Teen have hit the road supporting the release of their latest album Now We Are Timeless. They are performing a handful of shows across the US in July and August, and their first was at Twist and Shout record store in Denver.
The store's website posted video footage and reviewed the night. 

Twist n Shout had the pleasure of hosting a live performance plus meet and greet with Imperial Teen on Tuesday, July 16th. This catchy power pop band on Merge Records played a super upbeat set with a few songs from their new album Now We Are Timeless. These tunes get stuck in your head, and for days I have had the refrain “We Do What We Do Best” jamming in my mind. They also threw in a few older hits like “Butch” and “Yoo Hoo” – which you may remember from the film Jawbreaker. Imperial Teen rocked out, often switching instruments to keep us all intrigued about what they would do next. Each band member sings, and they all sounded fantastic. My favorite part of this event was the band themselves. Lynn Truell, Roddy Bottum, Will Schwartz, and Jone Stebbins are some of the funniest, most charming and loveable people I have met in a long time. They spent a lot of time with their fans, and it was great to spend time with them before they launch the rest of their tour.
